2022 Toyota Fortuner
$55,000
From Cape Reinga to Bluff, there’s hardly a place in the country the Fortuner hasn’t taken us over the last four years.
A Hilux station wagon (think Hilux Surf) - based on a shortened Hilux chassis with coils in the rear, the Fortuner has been our family and exploring rig for the last four and a bit years. There’s not much of the country it hasn’t seen and it’s done the job amazingly. There’s no where I wouldn’t take it and it’s been bullet proof - hit the start button and it goes.
With a rear locker, low range and a shorter wheel base with short overhangs it’s amazing off road and goes wherever you point it. Throw a set of rock sliders and a bar on and you’ll have an amazingly capable rig.
5 star safety rated, has all the modern safety gear you want (and lets you turn off what you don’t) - perfect for showing the family around the country.

Obviously the vehicle has been used offroad and there are signs of it. The outside is more than tidy enough, though it has some stone chips and bush rash as you’d expect. There’s also some damage to the side steps (easy to remove them) and rear bumper.
If you’re after a shiny mall crawler, it might not be for you - if you’re after something to enjoy New Zealand in it’s hard to beat. I will be sure to give it a good clean inside and out before pickup. It cleans up mint.
The interior is tidy as you’d expect for a fairly new and low kilometre vehicle. Everything works as it should (winch, AC, steering wheel controls etc), vehicle has been fully maintained to do a huge road trip at a moment’s notice - wouldn’t hesitate to drive the length of the country in it tomorrow exploring remote areas along the way.
Notes
This is a private sale by Daniel and Chloe and as with any private, the vehicle is being sold as is - happy to answer any questions and I’m not aware of any issues with the vehicle.
The vehicle is in a different state than has been shown on social media, please see photos.
