Trying out a DBA Brake upgrade - quick install + do they actually make a difference?

I've always run factory brakes - for better or worse. Recently I jumped on the chance to try some aftermarket brakes and what a difference. With the extra weight of having a vehicle setup for touring, the aftermarket brakes make a huge difference.
